Another story written by Fawzan Siddiqui - Age 7

          Curse of the black smith.

In Egypt  there was a lair. And in that lair was an evil black smith named Harry Manning. He ran away from home because he wanted to become a black smith but his parents would not let him.

On his journey he found out that black smiths can put a curse on anything they make.  Harry learnt how to do that from an expert when he got to Egypt. Then he created his own lair. And finally Harry made his plan. He would make any objects and put the curse on them.  Then Harry would sell them. And last of all...if anyone touches them they would turn into stone! Harry didn’t think before he learnt how to do the curse. So Harry made sixty objects, sold them and already fifty people had turned into stone! Then   twelve people turned up.

“It’s all your fault!” shouted one person.

“Those people have turned into stone because of you!” shouted another.

Harry laughed, picked up a hook and threw the object  with  it. Then someone turned into stone. ”You can never stop me now!” laughed Harry. Then he picked up two objects. Using two hooks he threw them at three people.  They ran for their lives but one object landed on two people! The last   person didn’t notice the object rolling towards him. Then he saw it. He was about to run but it was too  late. Now fifty-four people had turned into stone! The others ran away. As soon as they   were   far  away   they  had  a  plan. That  was  to   steal   Harry’s  objects   with  all   his   hooks   in  the  night. And then  they  would   break  them  with  the  hooks  outside. So they  did   that  in  the  night. In  the  morning  Harry  was  shocked.

“Where  are  all  my  objects!”

“Right  here,” said  the  group  of  people. “All   broken.” They  surprised Harry.

“WHAT  DID  YOU  DO!!!”

“Oh  we  just   broke  your  objects,” said  the  group  of  people. “It’s time  you  learnt  a  lesson.”

“For  what!?”

“For  turning people into stone!”

Finally  Harry  said “...I   remember   now  turning people into stone is bad. I promise never  to turn anybody  into stone again.”

                      The end.
