The Sequel to 'Return to Planet Samosa' by Fawzan Siddiqui- Age 8

One day at Planet Samosa two samosas were walking in the park. They were both arguing about who is the strongest. “I am stronger than you!” said one samosa. “No, I am the strongest on Planet Samosa!” said another.  Then they planned a war with all of the samosas. Meanwhile the five samosas were about to cross the road. In case I didn’t mention in the first story their names are Freddy, Arun, Anthony, Zack and Sam. They were just about to walk on the road when the ground shook. “What was that?!” said Sam. Then the ground shook again. After that the other samosas were running across the path with their swords and axes. Because there was a war at planet samosa the other samosas were running to the battle field.

“This can’t really be happening can it?” said Arun.

“It is happening!” said Anthony. “They’re planning a war!”

“We have to run and tell the Boss Samosa about this!” said Freddy.  So Freddy ,Arun ,Anthony, Zack and Sam ran all the way to the Boss Samosa’s office with the other samosas behind them.

“Join us so we can fight for the war!” said a samosa.

“We will never join you!”said Zack.

“Quick!”said Sam, “the Boss Samosa’s office is right there!” Then finally the five samosas got inside the boss samosas office.

“What are you five doing in my office?” said the boss samosa, “This office is closed. Or is this more mischief?”

“No it isn’t, but this time you have to believe us!” said Arun.

“Fine,” said the boss samosa. “What is it this time?”

“The other samosas are planning a war,” explained Freddy.

“Now how do you expect me to believe that?” asked the boss samosa. Just then a sword stuck through the boss samosas office door. “Now do you believe us?” asked Anthony. Then the door burst open and then loads of samosas were surrounding them. “Yes,” said the boss samosa, “I do believe you but now it is time to use the escape pod.”

“You have an escape pod?” said Sam.

“It was a secret only for emergencies and now is the time to use it,” said the boss samosa. So then Anthony, Sam, Zak, Arun, Freddy and the Boss Samosa all went inside the escape pod and soon realised that they teleported to the battlefield because there were already some samosas at the battlefield.

“I have an idea,” said the boss samosa.

“What is it?” asked Zak.

“My idea is that you five can see if there is a shed where the other samosas keep their weapons for the war,” explained the boss samosa. “Then if you do find it then fight with the weapons and while you are doing that I can call my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfathers to see if one of them can stop this war.”

“But we don’t want to fight in the war.” said Arun.

“Well I think he has a point.” said Freddy.

 “Alright then.” said Arun.

“Ok now GO, GO, GO!” exclaimed the boss samosa.

Then while the five samosas were walking to find a shed where weapons were kept, Zak said, “The Boss Samosa is like a colonel now.”

“Yeah,” said Sam. “I agree.”Then suddenly they all saw some samosas [for the war] running to the battlefield. So Freddy, Sam, Anthony, Arun and Zack ran quite far and soon they found a shed. “So this must be the place where weapons are kept.” said Freddy.

“Well if it is then let’s go inside.” said Zak. So all five samosas went inside the shed and Boss Samosa was right. There was a shed with weapons in it. “So there are weapons in this shed.” said Anthony. “Now let’s take them for the war.” said Sam. So when the five samosas were all out of the shed they were wearing a helmet, a shield, a sword and some armour. “Well I hope we are all ready for the war.” said Arun.

“Of course we are.” said Anthony. “We just need to focus on fighting.” So the war was about to begin. The five samosas ran to the battle field with other samosas. “CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” said a samosa from each side.

The war had begun. One samosa hit another samosa with a sword but then he cut the other samosa in half and vegetables fell out of him! That was because this is a war between the meat samosas and the vegetable samosas. “We have to avoid being sliced in half!” said Sam. Just then a samosa was about to slice Zak in half when Freddy push him out of the way and then tripped over the other samosa. After that Freddy finally sliced him in half. “That was close.” said Freddy. Meanwhile the Boss had arranged a flight for his grandfathers. Soon the Boss Samosa’s grandfathers had come.

“Now as you can see there is a war here and I need one you to try and stop it.” said the Boss Samosa.

“I see.” said the Boss Samosa’s great, great, great, great, grandfather. Then during the war one samosa had a cannon!  “Woah!” said Anthony. Then the samosa that had a cannon shot a cannonball and managed to make a samosas leg come off. While all that was happening the boss samosa’s grandfathers had been trying to shout at all of the samosas to stop the war. The samosa with the cannon was about to fire another cannonball when Arun cut his arm off. Then suddenly two samosas were surrounding Anthony when Sam and Freddy hit their weapons out of their hands and then those two samosas ran. Finally it was the greatest grandfather of the Boss Samosa’s turn to try and stop the war. Luckily he had a megaphone so this is what he said: “ATTENTION ALL SAMOSAS! STOP THIS WAR RIGHT NOW! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN!? THERE ARE LIVING SAMOSAS WHO ARE HERE AND WE DON’T WANT TO DESTROY THEM AND LIFE ON PLANET SAMOSA!” The samosas thought about this. Then the samosas took off their helmets and weapons and started breaking them. “Well I am glad that’s over.” said Freddy. “And now we all have to make sure it doesn’t happen again.” said the boss samosa.

It's all his own imagination. He got the Samosa Island idea in Ramadan so perhaps had something to do with opening the fast!
