How to Gain Valuable Time in Daily Life

I have been researching lately on ways I can achieve a more productive day each day. What I have learned was not at all what I expected. The beginning part of the frame work needed to have a daily more productive life actually starts off with having a balanced diet, workout and good sleep schedule. I was thinking it would have more to do with little office tricks you can do but the well maintained mind and body is critical to the rest of your day if you want to make use of efficiency tricks.
Once you have achieved a routine that gives you 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep, a balanced diet which consists of raw vegetables and a good 45 minute cardio and stretch workout you can start working on your mind. You can actually be working on mind and body routines at the same time but it helps to have the initial framework established. Your mind you will find often wonders around constantly being persuaded to distract itself from the task at hand. Your wife and kids may call and text you all day at work and you may have always rewarded this behavior and allowed it to continue. The problem is that a butterfly effect occurs. Once you get distracted by a text message you begin to think about the topic of that discussion. You may get stressed about that and begin to think of something related that is bothering you. Before you know it you have wasted 30 minutes of your time looking blank at your screen only to get a phone call or email to distract you further.
The idea of bucketing phone calls, emails, and text messages until a later time is a valuable step to eliminating almost all distractions. You can come back to these emails and calls in a 30 minute block in your day you have set aside for such a purpose. By prioritizing the things in business that bother you daily but are left on the back burner you can grind these out. By tackling your important points that distract you most you free your mind and have chunks of uninterrupted time to work on them. It is recommended that you spend at least 2 hours at a time endeavoring to complete the most important mind troubling problems first and work quickly to find a solution to these and be done with it.
For example, I have needed an investment and savings plan for the longest time because I tend to spend all of my money as soon as I get it. This issue has been bothering me for a couple of years and is often weighing heavy on my mind. By prioritizing this at the top of my list and scheduling a call with a financial advisor I have taken one step towards solving this problem. I took a further step in filling out a questionnaire that took a 2 hour block of time to help my advisor structure a plan that will work for my meager little living situation. This problem is less of a daily distraction that causes me to daydream off of work tasks that desperately need to get done. Each step I take towards solving a new problem a new light turns on showing me what to do next. It is the act of moving forward that allows me to finish and is an important concept to remember.
In summary this is only a summary of how to begin to improve your daily work productivity at your home or office. If you ever lose it while being distracted simply breathe in at a count of 8 and exhale at a count 4. It also helps me to center my hands at my chest and physically and emotionally find my center while breathing those distractions away. So as not to be a distraction to others you may find it helpful to simply breathe rather than going through standing and finding your center while doing breathing exercises and perhaps distracting others. The point is to take this great summary on how to become more productive and use it as you find it may help you in your work endeavors.
